Don't let the wanna-be biker image fool ya! I've actually worked with or around computer systems most of my adult life. I started out at Goodyear Tire & Rubber in 1981 as a junior mainframe programmer. I then served as a computer systems consultant for Cap Gemini/Ernst & Young for almost twenty years. My areas of expertise included coding and testing, design and analysis, database design and administration and project management.

I am currently in what I guess you'd call the semi-retirement phase of life, but website design is now my passion, and I like to put everything I have into this venture. I am proficient in XHTML and CSS (Cascading Style Sheets), have considerable experience with PHP programming and I specialize in MySQL database design and coding. I use a state-of-the-art developers tool called Adobe Creative Suite 4. This toolbox includes Adobe Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Flash, Fireworks and Illustrator. All of my XHTML and CSS development is guaranteed to meet 1.0 Transitional and W3C standards respectively.

I take pride in being a conscientious, hard-working and details-oriented individual. I also like to think that I work well with folks of all backgrounds and interests. During my career I spent a great deal of time mentoring and training people in computer-related subject matter, and I believe that has served me well in being a person that my clients will enjoy working with, and above all trust.
