Dr. Neil Perko

I recently completed work on this website for my good friend Dr. Neil Perko. He's a well-respected optometrist with a practice in Euclid, Ohio. This is an example of an informational site for a local business. I like to feature staff or employees rather prominently in a business-oriented website, as they are such an important part of your enterprise.

Keeping it "in the family", Dr. Mark Perko (Dr. Neil's brother) commissioned me to do a website for his dental practice. We paid particular attention to one of Mark's areas of expertise, Laser Dentistry. Once again, the staff is prominently featured and some personal touches have been included. Mark is a big sports fan, so on his bio page you will note I included his alma mater (Louisville) as well as logo representations of the Cleveland sports scene.

Christine's Windows Etc.

Christine's Windows Etc. is a good example of a website for a small business entrepreneur. My client wanted something crisp and clean that served as a portal to her existing online portfolio. The site was designed around the theme of her business card, which is becoming an increasingly popular trend these days. Founder and owner Christine Rasor has gained significant new clientele from her website.

Dick's Gun Room

The Dick's Gun Room website was one of my first commercial efforts. This is actually a complete makeover of their previous website. The theme is meant to reflect an 'old-time feel' for a very successful, family-owned local business.

I also put together a PHP/MySQL based interface which the client uses to update their featured items page with both text and images in real-time. This feature is extremely useful if your business is retail sales-oriented.

Jerry's Barber Shop

I've been getting my hair cut here for years. I finally talked the owner Cheryl into a simple, informational website for the shop. This is an example of a scaled-down, two page site for a small, local business. Note the traditional barber pole theme. If your business has a recognizable characteristic to it like this, I can do the same for you through the use of pictures and graphics.
